First time parents are required to take our parish's Baptismal Preparation Program before their child is baptized into the community.  As we welcome these parents in a special way, we are always looking for people to volunteer in this ministry so these preparation programs are both learning and prayerful experiences before a couple baptizes their child.  Contact the Parish Office for dates and to register.

PARENT MEETINGS:

Volunteer couples facilitate and lead discussions for parents who are having their first child baptized.  The program consists of a meeting with other couples to clarify an understanding of the sacrament.  There is an opportunity to meet and talk with the parish priest and deacon, and to interact with other parents.

CREATING BAPTISMAL ROBES:

Volunteers construct (cut, serge, and monogram) the babies' robes.
