St. John's has several small groups of parishioners who make themselves available to a family at the time of death to walk with and support with loving care those who are grieving their lost loved ones.  As soon as possible, a lay person calls and/or visits the next of kin or someone else designated by the family to assist in planning the funeral mass.  The committee's main mission is to help those grieving their lost loved ones through faith, hope, and love.
