The Evangelization Committee focuses on areas in the parish that need to be evangelized.  Its purpose is to initiate things such as processes and programs for the parish which will assist the spiritual growth of the parish community, reach out to fallen away Catholics to bring them home, and inspire and encourage those who may wish to join the Catholic Church.  By rephrasing Pope Paul VI's words we can get a great definition of evangelizing - "bringing the Good News of Jesus into every human situation and seeking to convert individuals and society by the divine power of the Gospel itself."  This is exactly what we strive to do.
