Dear Parishioners & Friends of St. John's Parish,
We recently received a call from a neighbor ENRAGED at the parish due to the parking that occured on Charles Street during the Confirmation, funeral, and Easter Masses over the course of the last few weeks. This neighbor said that if anyone from Charles Street happened to come home during those Masses, they would not have been able to park on their own street. In addition, the person implied that they might take action against our parish if this continues.
I ask if you'd please be mindful of this anger out there and try to find other places to park than Charles Street. Moreover, if our church parking lot isn't full yet, take the avaliable spots! Now we know that some people to whom this anger is directed to were people who came in from out of town for these specific Masses, so they will probably not see this announcement. But if we "regulars" could avoid parking over there, that might alleviate this situation. Thank you for your patience and cooperation.
Yours in Christ,
Father Richard Wilson
